Came here twice in 2 days as we found the food to be delicious. Ordered crabs, prawns and scallops. They were fresh and cooked well. The crab was meaty and sweet. The prices were reasonable as well and portion sizes were good. Definitely would return if we’re in town, highly recommended.
We had an incredible dining experience at Mamma Seafood Restaurant. The food served were cooked to perfection - flavourful and seasoned just right. We ordered crayfish, crabs, fried chicken with garlic, vegetables and a few others. The ambiance was cozy and relaxing. The staff were attentive and served their customers smiling, always ready to assist us and also recommended us with their specialties. If you're a seafood lover, this place is definitely a must-visit, not forgetting all their prices are reasonably priced!
Came here with zero expectation as we wanted seafood and this restaurant is the nearest to our hotel. Lo and behold, it's the best meal we had and even came back the next day. All their dishes were amazing & delicious! Portion is great & plus point is the pricing.
9 of us came for dinner. We sat upstairs in aircon comfort just in case there were mosquitoes! Nicely decorated, clean and dry especially the toilets. We had Teochew steamed fish- kerapu which was v good but because they serve it on food warmer, it quickly became overcooked! We wanted fish soup and had to DIY with hot pot or steamboat.. Only Dory was available, not good fish for soup. The pot was huge, the heat was not hot enough to bring it to a boil rapidly. It was ok but the steamed fish stock was actually better. The steamed prawns were excellent, as was gong gong. Kailan and broccoli were also good. I was disappointed with fried cumi cumi as they were overcooked and almost burnt. And Portuguese chicken, I did not care for it. Too sweet, a bit sour with mayo- just weird! The fried beehoon was also disappointing! Well we managed to finish everything.
20th July 2025. Sunday at 1430 hrs. Had a family lunch at the premises. The food tastes super nice. Friendly waitresses. Clean environment with great ambiance. And the service is very fast…outstanding. Price is ok due to the freshness of the dishes. Will definitely come again and will recommend to friends. Thank you for the great experience.
We dined at Mamma Restaurant Live Seafood & Steamboat on 6 Jul 2025. Four of us we ordered kam heong Crab (1 big crab), steam mantis prawns, fried garlic Sotong, sambal lala, fried Dao Meao, test for all was do wonderful, so enjoyable. All the dishes, meat were do fresh, meat is tender, will visit again if I back to stay at Aston Nagoya hotel.
Came here for dinner as we are staying nearby. Seated upstairs with aircon. Spacious and bright. They serve seafood and hotpot too! We had steamed Grouper Hong Kong Style, Black Pepper Crab , Salted Egg squid and 4 Heavenly Kings. The fish was fresh and i love the squid, very well cooked! Our mistake was ordering smaller crab, as waiter told us that the big crab maybe above 1kg. With the black pepper sauce they use which was really good, that made the small crab we ordered became too small portion after cooking!!
